Why I Took The ProgramI wanted to lose a few pounds that I'd put on in the past year. Being a graduate student often means crazy schedules and lots of stress, and with my sweet tooth this translated in lots of stress eating and convenience foods. I needed to remember how to fuel my body properly with wholesome food. |

End ResultHabit changer reminded me how to eat consciously: respecting food and my body, paying attention to my hunger and channeling my emotions in healthier ways than finishing a pint of ice cream. I rediscovered my love of cooking and remembered how good fresh fruits and vegetables tasted. And I lost the weight. But more importantly, I gained back the old, happy me. |
